great show
I have to agree that this is a great show and excellent recording from the early days of this wonderful band. How on earth The Samples aren't more popular is a big mystery to me. All their early cds are just incredible.
Back in the early 90s when I was a hardcore Dead tape trader, a buddy of mine, John Berg, kept raving about this killer band from Colorado, The Samples. After much prodding, I finally agreed to check out some live recordings. Boy, was I impressed. I'll be forever thankful to John for the tip and forever thankful for Sean and the boys for such beautiful music. You've got a lifelong fan.

This is the Good Old Days
Very nice sounding show here, this is from the Samples at perhaps their peak, original band members and a hard effort that results in a jamming show.

No reviews yet??? What??
That is ridiculous. This is the best Samples show on the archive. Great playing and superb sound. And it's 2.3 hours long. Damn.
I can not get away from The Samples right now. I'm addicted. Thanks ChuckC.
